Andrew's Favorite Gift - Seriously

I hate to be a blogger bragger but I just think Andrew's face is perfect in this picture, what a handsome young man.....and a man is what his number 1 aspiration is! He requested a shirt and tie for Christmas from Santa and lo and behold, Santa knew exactly which one to buy! He loves to wear ties and counts the days until Sunday School and "family worship" days at preschool so he can dress up. He would wear this all the time if we let him! His favorite things to do include pretending to be a superhero (note the new pj's he is wearing) and pretending to be a man. He observes men around him, (particularly his daddy) and imitates the nuances in their dressing habits - like using a belt with his khaki pants, wearing an undershirt, making sure his tie is under the collar properly. He is a HOOT although it can be frustrating when he insists on wearing something specific and it just isn't appropriate for what we are doing that day.

Finally, no tears shed!

5th Annual Christmas Party! Santa visits every year and every year Andrew FREAKS out. This year he didn't cry as much and we coerced him to quick sit on Santa's lap so I could get a picture. As you can see from this picture, his face says "Hurry Up and Take The Picture!" He got off Santa's lap quicker than you can imagine. He was not happy about the requirement in order to get his gift from Santa. But of course he was quick to brag to his Nana that:

"I sat on Santa's lap, did you see me?"
